Experienced Quantitative Researcher/Trader

As a successful candidate, you will bring your expertise in product development, trading, and hedging of structured products to collaborate with a talented team of quants, IT developers, and analysts. You will enjoy working in an interdisciplinary environment that emphasizes collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a strong team drive, which will seriously expand your knowledge and ability to perform in the energy market.

Your experience in developing structured products will be crucial in the design of customer solutions, where you will work closely with highly skilled colleagues with extensive experience in trading, customer solutions, and quantitative methods. Your trading experience will be valuable in efficiently managing risk and in the design phase of new products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate in idea generation and provide guidance on the pricing and risk management of customer solutions.
  • Propose and implement hedging strategies for the various structured products.
  • Suggest risk-reducing or value-adding modifications of the structured products.

Qualifications

  • Excellent team player with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrable experience with the pricing and hedging of structured products and derivatives in general.
  • Experience from power markets is preferred, but we are ready to invest substantially in the training and onboarding of new colleagues.
  • Proficiency in programming with Python, R, or similar languages.
