As our new Gas Trader - Entry Level, you will become a part of a talented team of traders, who optimize the short-term European Asset book to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the European Gas Trading Team, the Gas Trader  - Entry Level will:

  • Conduct daily trades on exchanges, auctions, and OTC markets across Europe.
  • Optimize the value of the asset portfolio.
  • Take part in the 24/7 shift rotation.
  • Maintain a dialogue with counterparts including energy majors, investment banks, brokers, and trading houses.
  • Develop, test, and implement new data-driven trading strategies.
  • Take a proactive role in the development of the Gas Trading team.
In this position, your responsibilities will involve participating in trading activities within the European gas markets. This will provide you with a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing the ongoing energy transition.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a relevant field).
  • Analytical and curious mindset.
  • Preferably experience with VBA, Phyton, C#.
  • Experience from the trading industry is not required but preferred.
  • Fluently in English (both written and spoken); additional languages advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, has a strong passion for trading, is approachable, and enjoys working in high performing teams.
