As our new gas trader, your focus will be analyzing the LNG market and understanding the LNG market dynamics. You will provide analyses and recommendations on trading LNG benchmarks such as JKM, TFU, and Henry Hub. You are analytically strong and able to evaluate options quickly.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and implement new trading strategies for the LNG market, such as JKM, TFU, and Henry Hub.
Create analyses, both fundamental and quantitative, on the global LNG picture.
Participate in the 24/7 shift rotation for European gas trading.
Optimize the value of the asset portfolio.
Maintain a dialogue with counterparts including energy majors, investment banks, brokers, and trading houses.
Take a proactive role in the development of the Gas Trading team, especially on APAC expansion.

In this position, your responsibilities will involve analyzing the global LNG landscape, and trading activities within the gas markets. This will provide you with a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing the ongoing energy transition.

Requirements

Minimum bachelor’s degree in (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a relevant field).
Minimum 1 year experience covering the LNG market, preferably with JKM experience.
Preferably experienced with VBA, Phyton, or C#.
Experience from the trading industry is not required but preferred.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages advantageous.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, has a strong passion for trading, is approachable, and enjoys working in high-performing teams.
