Intraday Power Trader

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and data to develop and implement trading strategies
  • Execute trades in the intraday power market with precision and speed
  • Monitor and manage risk associated with real-time trading activities
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key market participants and stakeholders
  • Provide detailed market insights and reports to support strategic business decisions
  • Participate in the team’s shift scheme, ensuring continuous market coverage

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in energy trading, ideally within the intraday power market
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
