Senior Power Trader

Are you an experienced power or cross commodity trader? Do you understand the drivers of the energy market? Then we encourage you to check out this opportunity now.

Norlys Energy Trading (NET) is an emerging player in the international power and gas trading markets. With a focus on renewable energy, we aim to become a top-performing European trading house. Join our team of dedicated professionals and contribute to create a sustainable future through efficient energy management.

As our new Senior Power Trader, you will play a vital role in expanding and developing our activity in the Short-Term (Balance of Month and Front Month) markets across the major European Power markets. You will generate opinions on price levels in the market and trade accordingly to generate profits. We are currently expanding our coverage in Europe, and we need your expertise to contribute to our success.

I always remember going for my first interview and being asked what famous figure, dead or alive, I’d take for a beer. The purpose of the question was to gauge if I had the character and personality to work in a fast-paced and sometimes pressurized trading industry. I had my reasons and answered Paul Gascoigne, luckily the hiring manager was a big Tottenham fan. Who would yours be?
